We would be delighted to arrange a personal tour of Monarch Preschool, Monarch Day School, Monarch Boarding Academy, and Monarch Adult Autism Services located in Cleveland, Ohio. During your visit, you will experience our philosophy, meet our staff, and witness first-hand a day in the life at Monarch Center for Autism.

Monarch Preschool

  • Program Overview
  • Ages 3 to 6 years (younger than 3 considered upon evaluation)
  • Suspected or confirmed diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder

We observe the following intake procedures:

  • Families and school district personnel visit the preschool and tour the facility to determine if it’s a good fit for the child
  • Member(s) of the treatment team meet the child either at Monarch Preschool and/or at the child’s home or current educational setting (if applicable)
  • Members of the treatment team review the child’s IEPs, MFEs, Progress Reports and other relevant documentation (if available)
  • Members of the treatment team work with the family to determine whether a Monarch placement would be beneficial to the child
  • If placement is approved, an IEP is developed to support the child at Monarch Preschool

  • Families and school district personnel visit the school and tour the facility to determine if it’s a good fit for the child
  • Member(s) of the treatment team meet the child either at Monarch and/or at the child’s home or current educational setting

Monarch Boarding Academy (MBA)

  • Program Overview 
  • Ages 8 through 21 years
  • Confirmed diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (dual-diagnoses accepted)

 

We observe the following intake procedures:

  • The treatment team reviews current referral information on the child (IEP, assessments and psychiatric evaluations) and identifies viable funding stream(s)
  • Parents, child and support staff visit MBA and tour the facility
  • Parents and child meet with the treatment team
  • Observations of the child are made within the home
  • Observations of the child are made within the current school placement
  • An individualized transition plan is developed to support the child and family in adjusting to the placement
