Overview:
As more students with autism spectrum disorder are included in public schools, the role of the paraprofessional becomes even more important. Whether it's in the self-contained class or the mainstream environment, paraprofessionals play a vital role in these students' success. Paraprofessionals are often tasked with providing academic, social and behavioral support to students.
In this edWebinar, Nina Finkler, M.Ed., LDT/C, BCBA, and President of Nina Finkler Autism Services, discusses the diverse roles of the paraprofessional and provides attendees with valuable strategies to use across different settings. There will be time to have your questions answered at the end of the session. PreK through high school teachers, administrators, and related service providers will benefit from attending this event.
