ODMRDD Adult Day Services

Ohioans with MRDD have a variety of supports available to assist them to work and earn money in the community.275

Certified individual and agency providers and the County Boards of MRDD provide services such as: supported employment, ongoing job support, job coaching, job developing, benefits planning. These services can assist an individual to work part-time or full-time in the community individually or in an enclave. For more information on the community employment services in your community, contact your local County Board of MRDD and/or provider(s) of MRDD services.276

New adult day services recently became available for individuals on the Individual Options and Level One Medicaid Waivers administered by the Ohio Department of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (ODMRDD). These new services include:

Adult Day Support

Vocational Habilitation

Supported Employment

Non-Medical Transportation
