April 29, 2017 is International Tabletop Day. It is also the last day for BlackWater Roasters' Autism Awareness Saturdays in April (10% of sales on Saturdays in April will be donated to Monarch Center for Autism).
As such they have been working on a way to celebrate both events together. They are excited to announce that they will be hosting a board game and puzzle drive for Monarch Center for Autism on Saturday, April 29, 2017.
The drive is simple. Visit the cafe on April 29th between 7am and 9pm, bring in an unopened board game or puzzle to donate to Monarch School, and receive a free drink on the house, as a thank you for your donation. Below are some games/puzzles that have been requested by teachers at Monarch School:
- Hungry Hungry Hippo
- Wooden puzzles with numbers, letters, food, common objects (cars, trains, etc.)
- Don't Break the Ice
- Sequence for Kids
- Basic Matching Games
BlackWater Roasters will be live streaming and taping parts of the drive, and of course the many board games to be played that day. Please consider supporting them!
